I know the rents charged for offices in various NPC stations are dynamic, but the rent on my Ordion office increased about 10x over what it usually is. I can't imagine the demand for space on the ass-end of Amarr territory is suddenly driving prices up to 2-3x what my office in more populous Caldari space last rented for, so any ideas if this a bug/"feature"/fluke?

Ordion seems to be the exception to the rule about Amarr space being large areas of nothing - pretty much something for everyone in one dead-end system with a lot of "attractions" near by.
From what I've seen the local population in Shaha / Misha / Ordion has about doubled from what I remember it being when my corp was active down there.
I think Ordion has some level 4 amarr navy agents, which would explain the popularity.
Ordion is within a few jumps of a variety of Amarr navy agents from L2 -> L4, however each station also has a lab which is a massive inflator of office prices. Other factors include it being a dead-end 0.5 system with a lot of asteroid belts, and some ice.
If I were guessing I'd say that Ordion's simply become more crowded due to it's location and a shortage of offices has caused the prices to reach "stupid money" levels.
It was always fairly decent for Amarr space, but it still seems odd for rents to go from 1.3 million to 13 million in a month. Really haven't been using the office for anything anyway, so I just closed it up.
