Stan Winston has died.

This man is responsible for shaping so many of the iconic movie creatures of the last 30 years that he is as much as a legend as Ray Harryhausen.

RIP.

I didn't know him by name, I bet a lot didn't but jesus, looking at that list of creations is like looking at every memorable movie of my childhood. Great talent and I hope god commisions him to help build.

This hurts.

Last I heard, he was also working on the new Wolfman movie with Benicio del Toro. I had no idea he was working on Cameron's Avatar. Man, pretty much every movie I loved as a kid was marked by Winston somehow.

He was the best even after CGI took over.  RIP.

Yeah Stan Winston was the man.

vampirehipi23: I would enjoy a book written by a monkey and turned into a movie rather than this.
