You don't suppose this could have something to do with that Bioware MMORPG, do you?

An Aliens MMO? Hmmm...don't know.
I know they came out with a pen and paper game that fleshed out the Aliens universe. It was a very "corporations run everything and compete against each other" type of universe. It could work for an MMO.

I just know Obsidian pinched off KOTOR2 into a box and sold it to me without any sort of label declaring that the package was, in fact, full of excrement.

Why am I homeless? Why do all you motherfuckers need homes is the real question. They called it The Prayer, its answer was law Mommy come back 'cause the water's all gone

Hey, at least you got a box. I went the D2D route and just got the excrement.

For the nth time.
Bioware needs to buy Obsidian and rebuild Black Isle Studios. Damn the cost!

KOTOR2 was fucking great until you ran out of game. You realize how sad it is when your fans basically put the last third of your game together with a hacky patch?

What's even sadder is that there wasn't really anything stopping Obsidian from putting out a patch to "fix" the ending. It would have even worked for the Xbox version.
We all got burned on KotOR2. Apparently, people felt a bit burned on NWN2 (I didn't purchase this one). I'd be reticent to buy another of their products.

Having played KOTOR1 and KOTOR2 back to back, I couldn't make it past the mid point of KOTOR2. In comparison it dragged out much too long and wasn't nearly as well encapsulated. Also, ATI hates the engine KOTOR runs on, although I was able to rectify that by running older drivers.

NWN2 isn't too bad outside of the clunky shitpot of an engine it's running. The areas feel claustrophobic too, but that's somewhat mitigated by the fact the areas can now have rolling hills and the like. The plot/voiceacting is pretty good, and the combat is pretty much NWN, so the game aspect is alright.

So, you play a character who has just woken up from a stasis pod and doesn't remember anything else.....
