I had enough of my Dlink DI-624. It *constantly* reboots looking for better channels and does not stop even if you manually lock it into a channel. In hopes of fixing this problem I updated its BIOS. It did not help with rebooting and only marginally helped with range. It is highly annoying considering that wireless part affects wired part, so every time (and it happens often) router decides to act up it also knocks my main PC’s connection.
So now I’m shopping for a better router, one that supports 802.11g and RJ45. Suggestions?

I suggest the GL because if you get the plain WRT54G you're more likely to get the non-linux version that has less memory and that sort of thing. I'm using a 4 year old wrt54g v2 (they are up to like v6 now I think) and I don't have many troubles.
I bought the Dynalink because it has the best wireless signal and a deserved reputation for rock solid stability. It has never rebooted even under heavy P2P (torrent) strain and has only crashed once in the five months I've owned it, and that occurred when I installed a buggy Azureus plugin that had also crashed ZoneAlarm. It has a wired ethernet connection to my home desktop PC, and I connect my work notebook wirelessly to it with no problems and an incredibly strong signal anywhere in the house (or outside for that matter).
Dynalinks are made in Europe so I'm not sure how available they are in the US. Many people in the Asia/Pacific region also use the Billion brand of modem/routers, but while they are excellent, there are often problems with their wireless stability.

Thanks for suggestion! I ended up with WRT54GL and HyperWRT firmware. So far good results all around. Now I need to figure out what all advanced settings mean.
