People even remotely in the area who are even remotely into punk and ska should go see this show. Granted, the crappy Misfits without Glenn will be playing, but hey, Naked Raygun!
I traded in my fun blog for several legal blogs. Or, "blawgs," as the cutesy attorney blawgosphere likes to call 'em.
My live music for the weekend consisted of going to see the Cleveland Orchestra at Blossom Amphitheatre(outdoor venue).
The show consisted of:
Debussy: Printemps Prokofiev: Romeo and Juliet Suite Mozart: Symphony No. 38 ("Prague") Debussy: La Mer
I enjoyed the Prokofiev and Mozart pieces moreso than the Debussy. Although, by the time they had gotten to La Mer it was getting late and the glasses of wine I had drank earlier were having the effect of putting me to sleep. It didn't help that La Mer has a very slow start to it.
Did you ever get tickets for that other show? Some Raygun guys will be there (albeit, in other bands). Good stuff though, I agree.
Favorite song is: Roller Queen
Tickets are still on sale, actually. I'm trying to enlist a friend to go with me, as well as find someone to watch my daughter that day. So yeah, it's a good thing that tickets are still on sale. While you'd think this one would sell out, it most likely will not.
