I always throught it would be Famine who'd take out the US- poor diets on fat people not giving them any nutrition counts as much as anorexic models dying on the catwalk.

Pestilence just seems so... unpoetic.  It should go after Europe- they have a history with this sort of thing.

Ah, you've just mentioned my own little Rapture fantasy. All the lazy, fat, electric-cart-at-walmart-drivin' welfare scammers die off, leaving only those who can actually walk to gather their food, as a last gasp of our hunter-gathering history.

Another happy-fun rapture fantasy: all these end-of-days nutbags get in a boat (let's call it an ark, whatthehell) and ship out for armageddon in mess'o'potamia. C'mon, christians, can't let mohammed's boys win the fight against your all-powerful diety!
