"I have come to believe that a great teacher is a great artist and that there are as few as there are any other great artists. Teaching might even be the greatest of the arts since the medium is the human mind and spirit." John Steinbeck
I always throught it would be Famine who'd take out the US- poor diets on fat people not giving them any nutrition counts as much as anorexic models dying on the catwalk.
Pestilence just seems so... unpoetic. It should go after Europe- they have a history with this sort of thing.
That the saints may enjoy their beatitude and the grace of God more abundantly they are permitted to see the punishment of the damned in hell. -Saint Thomas Aquinas, Summa Theologica

Ah, you've just mentioned my own little Rapture fantasy. All the lazy, fat, electric-cart-at-walmart-drivin' welfare scammers die off, leaving only those who can actually walk to gather their food, as a last gasp of our hunter-gathering history.
Another happy-fun rapture fantasy: all these end-of-days nutbags get in a boat (let's call it an ark, whatthehell) and ship out for armageddon in mess'o'potamia. C'mon, christians, can't let mohammed's boys win the fight against your all-powerful diety!
