Aye.  I've found getting back into Eve I can make good coin making FedEx trips in a fast frigate or cruiser.  Helps that I'm doing this in the background, while I work on something else on an other screen.  But honestly?  I'm now grinding LP with Tier2/3 agent(s) for Caldari Provisions.  I'm making >200k for 1-2 jump trips.  Fishsticks FTW

What kinda cargo capacity? How do you determine buy points and sell points?

The old fashioned way, I think. Browse the market tab for trade goods that have low sell/high buy pricings. Its fairly random, but occasionally you can luck out and find quick deals. I made 1 million in a single purchase once, hauling dirt. Took me 2 hours to haul all the stuff in my indy across 8 jumps, but it was money.

Of course, the moment you can fly a cruiser you should probably just team up and go ratting in 0.0. 500k bounty per battleship split between 3-4 friends adds up fast.

I should get back to nature, too.  You know, like going to a shop for groceries instead of the computer.  Maybe a condo in the woods that doesn't even have a health club or restaurant attached.  Buy a car with only two cup holders or something. -Signe

Got a cruiser, 2 in fact. Was thinking that I need a more stable ISK base before I go out and tackle 0.0 space, esp since I have such weird and sporadic playing times. By the end of the week I should have 30M+ ISK and be trained in Baattlecruisers. Maybe I will brave the great unknown at that point.

You could always do mining. It's very lucrative.

could I do mining and not end up a crazed hermit who never showers and talks to myself?

That might be asking a little too much ...

It's not as fun as combat missions, but taking delivery missions just from a Distribution agent gives you easy and quick missions that rack up the faction points.  And then buy/sell provisions as the market demands.  Being the Webvan of the universe is dull but so far profitable, fast, and easy to do part-time.  I don't need to play 100% and I can still make ISK.  Huzzah.

22M ISK and counting. If I am going to hit my goal by the end of the week, I am gonna need to pick up the pace... So, I am looking to make cash any way that is convenient for my limited playing times.

Dude, undock from a 0.0 station, clear some crap belts. All those 200k BCs and 500k BSes add up. Takes fifteen minutes. And of course, if you ever have more time to form a gang and go a few jumps to kill some >1M BSes, the named drops are worth boatloads (8M, easy).

So, what you are saying is that I should just pack my bags and head down with one of my cruisers? Which would be more useful down there -- yet another Caracal or my Blackbird set up with EW gear?

Both!

We can make you a caracal if you want to bring down your blackbird.

ya Caracal is a monster for damage, there always seems to be people ready to rat in zero who could tank.

whip on an explosion dampener you can tank most of the smallish spawns anyway
