Yep. On shelves this week. The 13th to be exact.

For now, the digital card game is in open beta and it's kinda fun.

I hope NetDevil's wearing a cup today. They're gonna get kicked in the balls by the media if the game's anything like the steaming pile I played half a year ago.

 cry

I wish I had money to burn just so I could buy it and give it a shot, see if it's improved at all.

Sadly, I don't, and I doubt I'd find it's improved so much that it would have been worth the cost.  Cars and post-apocalyptic worlds aren't really my thing in the first place.

I sure hope someone gives it a shot, though.  They really did do a lot of redesigning to try to make it fun, would like to know if they succeeded at all.

I just installed my retail copy, plus the pre-order code.  (My old employees at EB gave it to me for free so, hey.)

I played for about 15 minutes but now there is, shockingly, a 15 minute-ish server downtime for "hotfixes".  Seems sorta cool so far, the graphics are okay, but not spectacular. (The Oblivion Juxtaposition Effect)  I'd have to say the main thing I found "neat" so far was the overall environs.  Wastelandy barrens with big toppled skyscrapers.  Also the music was pretty cool, for a game that is.

If you have an AA account, you might win a Tabula Rasa beta spot.  That's a bit of all right, innit?  (having relatives visit has led me to start using some very dodgy vernacular again.  Sorry.)   undecided

If you know you're doing it, you can stop. You are typing afterall, not speaking.

Also, don't make up words. Innit isn't a word. Neither is Tabula Rasa. The correct phrase is 'vapor ware.'

You're being mean to me.  Some day I'll poke you with a pointy stick and you'll be sorry.  You'll see.

My off the cuff impression is - "busy".  The screen is always full of visual elements.  Things flickering, shimmering, moving.  It makes it hard to see whats going on around you.  That and the fact you're driving like a bat out of hell.

And, the UI is a little clunky for my tastes.  But caveat that I'm into the more minimalistic styles of UI's for my games.  I do enjoy the blood spatter ala Carmeggedon or Quarantine when you freakin' steam roll someone though.  I have enough Dr.Peppers to last the night so I will play until Declassified comes on later tonight  cheesy

More later.

AA is apparently off to a blazing launch: Where is everyone?

At least the servers are up and running.

Up here in Canadia they have it street dated for Tuesday. Of course I doubt a lot of people want it anyway. I work at a busy location and only one person called for it in the past 3 days. RF online got more calls.

It's never too early.   I think launch day is a little late for this title.

I bought it after beta and played it for a month so I must have liked it at release.  I just didn't like it a month after release.
