That is not even the original link with all the photos - the actual site has so much traffic right now I can't get to it:

http://www.citynoise.org/article/2770

Front page news in one of Canada's national newspapers (we don't get conflict often).  Everyone is weighing in on one side or the other.  Basically, a courier throws garbage back into a guys car that he just discharged from his window - he throws coffee on her - she keys his car - then things got hotter (yes, they kept their cloths on).

(feel free to move this to the useless news forum - forgot it was there)

This is probably not going to be the popular viewpoint but the bicyclist should be charged with assault.  IMO she was completely in the wrong.  If there is a fine for 'attempted littering' the motorist should get that.

I was actually going to be in support of the cyclist, but Murgos is right.  It was none of her damn business.

But the guy should still be fined for littering.

lol

Originally I sided with the cyclist but as I heard the details - laudable issue - wrong way to handle it.

If the guy is fined for littering, he probably would not have been had the incident not escalated.  Can someone be fined if their license is written down, reported, but then denies it?  Maybe if she started collecting witnesses, but who is going to stop for that?

It certainly was a poor way to handle the situation.  They should both be charged as he did proceed to throw coffee on her, she keyed his car, then he physically assualt her.  (I presume the trash was not exactly deadly in nature, so that act does not bother me.)

Hahahaha!  I'm really good at this!

Regardless of right or wrong or who started what I would have beat his ass. No reason a guy should ever attack a woman short of defending himself from physical harm.

True.  I guess I just did not see that intent there - he grabs - but otherwise any attacks were directed at her bike.

Litter is one of my pet peeves. While I admit she was not "in the right" I say good for her. Unless a cop is standing there watching you - no one ever gets charged for throwing crap out of thier cars. Personally, I'd have waited for him to leave the car and then given him his gargage back up the tail pipe.

I think the motorist is a big ass pussy.  If he had any bit of class, he would have just thanked her for putting the lost object/trash back into his vehicle, waved and drove off...but since he had to get into a dick waving contest with a chick, he looks like a big ass pussy.  Somehow, I don't picture Canadian jails as scary as US jails, so there isn't hope he gets his reward if he gets sent to the slammer.

A jail is a jail no matter what country its in, and there's no singles bars there. He may well end up with something up his tailpipe.

Why does every thread come back to assfucking...

They're both retards.  Further, we gave women the vote and let them out the kitchen.  They now have sexual equality and should deal with it accordingly, which, alas, means they will deserve a beatdown just as much as a bloke.
