Mike Ferrier was a UI programmer on AC1. Since leaving Turbine in 2000, he's been doing various side projects. One of them is an online strategy game designed to pay for itself through RMT rather than subscription. Apparently he's doing well enough to rate a profile in the Wall Street Journal (which somehow overlooked his previous experience as a professional online game developer).
Regrettably, this means I can no longer mock him for spending six years unemployed.

I don't know the specifics of LinkMachine but by the description it justs seems like a harder to detect link farm tool which is totaly uncool. The other 2 projects were pretty cool though.
