Playing WoW cause so many friends wanted to play again. I'm actually enjoying it only because it's not a grindfest every night. We play every other day for a little bit and then someone crashes hard and we all log off heh. I think it'll last awhile. It better, I paid for 3 months.

EvE is surprisingly fun. Like most have said you don't feel like you HAVE to log in, but most times I want to. Setup a new skill to train, see what's going on with the other people and try your hand at something new. I started off as a trader, managed to get my hands on 2.2 Mil ISK and turned myself into a hybrid trader/fighter. The game seems like it has a lot to offer. I'm glad I subbed to it, nice change of pace.

And of course I'm also waiting for Baldwin Online. We've managed to pick up some of the laid off SWG staff too and we're really hyped about their ability to program a solid game with gameplay done so right their players just don't "get it."

WoW on Emerald Dream.  Getting good variety of gameplay and actually being able to acheive some goals in a palatable timeframe.

I'm tempted by EQ2 but struggling as I am to find time to group in WoW, I doubt I'll enjoy my experience in group-oriented EQ2.

I'm interested in DDO but doubt I'll sub as that's going to be group-oriented too.  Apart from that, nothin'.

WoW mostly, finally hit 60 with my main, plenty left to do, all of it still pure fun to me. And it still amazes me, since this was the one game I swore up and down I'd never touch prior to it's release... funny how that worked out.

That damn PC Gamer article, followed by everyone and their mother chatting it up on forums, led me to the free trial of Eve. This would be my 3rd attempt, never made it past the free time. But my prior attempts were to try to make it my main squeeze, we'll see how it works out this time as just my dirty little secret. The jury is still out.

Toying with the offer for the Galaxies free resub to look thing... the trial didn't show me much being unable to leave the tutorial ship. I know, I know, this is supposed to be teh suck, but I still like to see stuff for myself and will reserve judgement until I do, and in this case that would mean with my old character, or at least on an actual planet. Also toying with resubbing to every other MMO I've ever played (almost all of them), to put this into perspective.

Waiting on DDO. I will buy it, if I'll pay a monthly fee for it I dunno.

Finishing my EVE trial at the moment, and will open an account after that is up. I find the gameplay to be very casual-friendly and not so attention-demanding as other games, so I can watch TV or whatever at the same time. Also, I like space ships.

After I figure out what's wrong with my PC, I'll pre-order DDO so I can try that out. If I don't like it I can just cancel the pre-order.  smiley

Not really playing much else at the moment.

Currently playing CoH/CoV although mostly CoV right now. I've got 2 heroes at max level, 1 villain almost at max level, and about 15 alts of various levels on both sides. The group I play with have a few theme supergroups that we created besides our main groups. We've got the Oxymorons (character names all have to be an oxymoron), an obscure deity group, and the League of Super Ineptitude where we create characters with the absolute worst builds possible. I'm still having fun although I can tell the itch to try something new is getting stronger.

Also still beta-testing Auto Assault every now and then. Its getting better but it still needs work.

Only playing EVE right now, don't feel like committing any time to a game right now (got too many other projects going on) so it's nice to have something to play when you are bored at work.

Not really looking forward to any releases either. Maybe I'm just getting old, but no up-and-comings have moved my I-want-to-play-that meter, only mild academic interest.

Just wanted to point out that EQ2 is no less solo friendly then WoW.

Well, my computer went *BOOM* during a poweroutage, and have not gotten it fixed, so I'm using my son's computer to game and have been playing BF2 SF, Temple of Elemental Evil (with the Circle of 8 fixes), and KOTOR 2.  My son is playing CoH every now and then, and a ton of Paper Mario 2 (oh and X-men Ledgens which we just got and love playing together!).  The sad thing is that we both have a subscription to WoW and CoH, but without us being able to play together at the same time it sucks.

SWG, though the holidays have stalled that a bit. Mostly in space. I'm still the CL53 BH I respecced to in November, while at level 13 (of the 18) Freelance pilot. Already up a few million too, just from space components and random other stuff.

CoV, because I asked for it from the wife before the NGE was announced. It's ok, but I'm already playing my old CoH guy again, since at the low levels, CoV is exactly the same game anyway.

I cancelled WoW a few weeks ago. A solid year was enough for now. I'll be back for the expansion I'm sure. Nothing is ever final in this genre.

And all of this is with my new toys. I'd review the Logitech MX 3000, but the last cordless setup I gave a go was years ago, and sucked. So I'm no pro at them. All I can say is that the keyboard feels awesome, the mouse has a higher resolution than my old cord one, and all the cool foozles on the keyboard itself have already become required parts of my computer use. Someday I may even take advantage of the cordless aspect.

Alright. I'll own up too.

The last year saw me in and out of SWG twice, and in WoW, but only for a few weeks. Levels are hte Suk, for me anyways.

Having been burned out of my moisture farm this fall by the new Jedi horde (casts a disparaging glance towards Sky), I have return to my home in the Desert. I have intention to stay to see the end of this telling, which will probably be before summer.

To be honest ATITD isn't my cup of tea either. Far to cooperative/competitive for a hermit like me. But given that almost every other VW save aging UO has been reduced to ash by the fires created from the friction of the treadmills, it is likely where I will remain awaiting Hrose and DQ's miracle VW with free game inside the box!(TM).

Heres hoping for a better New Year for all.

Unforturnatly, all now have logon queues primetime evenings (10-20min).  Thats why I left my first server to start with.  I'm not moving anymore and waiting for the next game to come out.

I come back to WoW and my server now has 300 man queues at primetime.   It's worse than I imaged it would be.  To don my tinfoil hat a bit, the queues have gotten worse since the new servers were announced.  (Yes, this was postulated as a Blizzard tactic in another WoW thread)

Archimonde has instituted a new "silent queue" technology.

During primetime when you login to your account you will hang for literally 10 minutes before your characters appear, with an additional 5minute+ wait once you select one and hit join world.  Its nice, I'm glad the bajillion dollars they have made (are making) is being put to good use.

WoW:
Archimonde (Alliance-PvP):
60 Warrior, 36 Warlock, 1 Pally (waiting to see the new talents), 14 Priest, with various other alts including a 27 druid that I dont play.

They get plenty of stuff done. When they can't log in, that leaves copious amounts of time to accomplish things IRL.

Currentply playing WoW on Daggerspine(PvP), on horde side.  Have a level 18 warlock, level 10 mage, level 8 druid.  Been having fun... CoH had made me forget how addictive/fun item-centric gameplay can be.

WoW with 6 alts.  I just gradually work on each as long as they have rest exp available.  No raiding at all unless it is quick (less than 2 hours) and my guild is actually ready to go.  That's been mainly strat, scholo, and DM.

EVE casual (perfect game for it).  Considering reinstalling EQ2 but for the hours the patching will take.  ALthough not looking forward to that gulf after Stormhold.  And have to reroll (Rangers still teh suck I presume?)  Can't take WoW, since I won't play hardcore just because the end-game is hard-core.

After resubbing to multiple games and sampling what I had forgotten about them, I took a break for the holidays. After the holidays, I settled on the one that drew me in the most - EQ2. So that's where I reside for the moment. With the upcoming expansion in February and Desert of Flames already available, I'm thinking I'll stick with it for a bit. If it's one thing you can always count on SOE for, it's fairly fast expansion releases (at least in regards to the EverQuest series) once they get things rolling. The negative? I never reach the end game. The positive? There will always be "content" for me to play through. At the very least, I can get lots of quests. Same goes for WoW, but I just didn't feel drawn back to it after the holidays. Can't figure out why either as I love the Warcraft universe. Ah well.

I'm still playing CoH/CoV (CoV mainly), I'm a serious altaholic - something like 32 characters last time I counted. Probably less than a dozen past level 20 and none past 40. Most of the time I'm on Victory.

I made a pact with a friend to level a character to 60. (I normally quit at around 35 just burning out on the grind). Hit 48 two nights ago so we'll see what happens. I'm pretty sure already that WOW isn't my game.

Been playing a lot of BF2 as well. Been badge whoring. I managed to get my explosives and purple heart badge on one map!

60 Undead Warlock - PVP (Semi inactive)
17 Troll Hunter - PVP (New, very fun)
