Nickelodeon Production Assistant Arrested for Child MolestationBURBANK, Calif. - A convicted sex offender who works as a production assistant at Nickelodeon Animation Studios was arrested on suspicion of molesting a boy at the studio, police said Friday. Ezell Channel, 36, of Tarzana was arrested Thursday at the studio's parking lot and charged with two felonies. The mother of the victim, a teenage boy, became suspicious of Channel when he began spending time with her son, said city police department Sgt. Jay Jette. She later checked his name on the state's Megan's Law Web site and found he was a registered sex offender with a listing for "lewd or lascivious acts with child under 14 years." A subsequent investigation found allegations that Channel had fondled the teenager, Jette said. Channel is being held on $500,000 bail and is scheduled to be arraigned Monday. Jette said Channel was a freelance, temporary employee at the studio, which specializes in children's programs. Nickelodeon issued a statement Friday saying it was cooperating with the police investigation but had no further comment. Hey Nick, background checks please. |

This is indeed scary. If any religious group tried to indoctrinate children with a massive brainwashing scheme such as this, the public would go crazy. It's sad when a society has abandoned God to the extent that it starts brainwashing it's children, teaching that it's ok to violate God's Word by committing sin. Homosexuality is wicked, an abomination unto the Lord God. It is prohibited in the Bible. It is NOT acceptable in any way. That was an amusing little link. |
