Operating Thetan One

Just finished setting up a new pc at work finally. I'd been running a Celeron 600 for the last two years, but it finally choked trying to open multiple documents in Office 2k3. So here I am installing all my software, when I realized that I hadn't installed Google toolbar yet.

So I download and install Toolbar ver 3, and what do I discover..... SPELL CHECK!!1!

I am no longer to be cursed by the message board that refuses to check my spelling!

You'll all still have to put up with my shitty grammar though.

btw - I have no idea when they actually put spellcheck in to Google Toolbar, but this was the first time I'd seen it. It makes me happy. Now if I could just get the shift key on this cheap new Dell keyboard to be a bit more sensitive. I keep having to go back and re-capitalize things.

Google Toolbar is the best thing ever.  Its highlight/find feature should be in every browser and text editor.

That feature is exactly why I noticed I didn't have it installed yet, I use it all the time.

The best part of SWG was the easy account cancellation process.

Firefox has the Google toolbar's find in page/highlight functionality by default.  It also has a search box with a dropdown of search engines(mine is always set to google).

Of course, it doesn't auto-spellcheck for you...  but someone's prolly written or currently writing a plugin to do that.  I'm just too lazy to check.

Welcome to the internet. You have the right to remain silent. Anything you say can and will be used as evidence against you in a character assassination on Slashdot.
