You only thought you were joking. Stupid NPC Santa's were stuck everywhere. I remember Cove was crawling with them. --- The next step after WoW is to just have the NPCs all play against themselves while the walking wallets can only watch. Heaven forbid something unexpected happening to a player's character *gasp*. |

As much as I hated getting ganked, all of my valued UO memories have to do with fighting and defeating PKs.
All of my best memories involved PKs. All of my worst memories also involved PKs. I would have quit UO in under a month (like all the MUDs I tried in college), if it weren't for PKs. I wanted REVENGE! I wanted to get strong and learn how to fight so I could take the fight to them. They provided the conflict that generated an interest that computer generated mobs never could for me. |
