Didn't see a thread on this, just announced pre-orders and a release date of Sept 4th. http://www.train-fever.com/ This is a German Equity Funded Game (Kickstarter with a return to investors if the game does well) that I swear I heard about here, but can't find any trace of in the usual places. The game looks to be in the Railroad Tycoon mold rather than the true to life Trainz/Train Sim scene - and that's a good thing in my mind (replaying RT III gets harder and harder as it shows its age). Doesn't appear to have a 'campaign' but rather focusses on randomly generated worlds and cities/resources that respond to the needs/capabilities of the transportation simulation. I haven't been following it too closely since it was funded, but they held a beta earlier this month and look ready to release (on Steam, Humble Bundle, Amazon.de shrink wrap box, etc.).

Thank god I have no money right now, so I'll have to settle for adding this to my wishlist instead of outright buying it.
