I was lazy and ripped most of my CDs with windows media player.  Now I'm stuck with .wma formatted backups.

As opposed to simply deleting them all and re-ripping my music, does anyone know of a good free converter?

I need to go from .wma to .mp3, and everything I've found wants me to pay about 30 bucks to register the program so I can actually convert the entire file.

I traded in my fun blog for several legal blogs. Or, "blawgs," as the cutesy attorney blawgosphere likes to call 'em.

I use dMC by dBPowerAMP.  There's a WMA codec for it as well.

Thanks Mr. Noisy!  That program is great.  And once I'm done, I'll not have to register the 30 trial license for mp3s.

Especially keen is the fact that I can do it all via Explorer.

I thought dBpowerAMP uses LAME as it's MP3 encoder? Why would the use of that expire?
