Be sure to read up on the league's rules regarding skills.  You have a lot of leeway in skill selection, but there are still some standards that beastmen must meet when levelling up or a team could be invalidated.  Once a coach plays their oustanding game from a previous week their team's standing will be updated immediately.

League Rules

I used the official f13 rankings to arrange the calendar and was able to arrange the matches in such a way that no one plays each other twice.  Once we (hopefully) enter the second season I'll be using a different seeding method based only upon past performance within the Hooves & Horns matches.

Gruntle, I'm in the US until Friday and then back home in Germany after Saturday morning. While in the US (GMT-7), I can play either early mornings or late evenings. While in Europe (GMT+1) I can play weekends or evenings. Let me know which is best for you.

I'm also in the US and can do late evenings before friday if you like, or we can work something out when you're back in Germany (if you want to enjoy your trip more).

Nuffle decided that the punch in the dick I got yesterday vs Ingmar needed to be followed up with a few swift kicks to the nuts in my game vs Gruntle.

I kicked to start and it scattered a long way for a very short kick. I got the ball and passed it back to safety while I figured out what to do with it. After some pushing around I decided to throw the ball to a few goats off to one side.  I get a goat on the ball and he promptly falls over in front of a couple of Stupicabras who are only too happy to take advantage. They roll down the pitch and score. Next drive I have the goat with the ball in a bad place so I try to pass it out and he fumbles, gets blitzed down and the Stupicabras score again.

Second half I fail to pick up the ball a lot, finally get a goat on it and again fumble the pass in front of a couple of hostile goats. This time, the Stupicabras cage up and beat my team down as much as they can. At one point I get the ball off the Stupicabras, throw it to safety and ... it's intercepted. By this time the lopsided block dice and, more importantly injury dice are heavily favouring Gruntle and I don't have enough Goats on the pitch to break his cage. He parks it out of reach until the last turn and breaks my team until he scores the last one on the last turn.

Final score 3-0 to Gruntle in a game that was never even remotely close. One of my goats levelled up and I gave him Disturbing Presence on the offchance that someone else might try to play a passing game with Beastmen.

Los Stupicabras luck their way into a 3-0 victory over IainC's Green Bay Alpacas.

Los Stupicabras chose to receive and after a short kick didn't manage to pick up the ball on their first turn. An alpaca snuck in and stole the ball and tossed it back into his own backfield out of the stupicabras immediate range. Some how (don't ask me, look at the replay on bbmanager maybe but IainC was getting some bad dice) the Stupicabras managed to stop his offense and sneak a goat or two around his line to mark the ball carrier, recover the loose ball and score on their 4th or 5th turn. IainC recovered a high kick but bad dice again (for he was running out of rerolls) allowed me to pierce his line a second time and score a goal number two on their last turn before half.time

In the second half an extra lucky kick off put the ball near the goal line in IainC's backfield, this time he had trouble recovering it. Some lucky casualties left the stupicabras with the numbers advantage (which they squandered by marking two alpacas resting on the pitch with 4 of their goats). When the alpacas had finally recovered the ball and those extra stupicabras finally turned to pressure them they went for a risky throw...which was intercepted. While there was still some knock around to happen the stupicabras caged up on the goal line and ran the ball in for a third score on the turn 16.

IainC levels 1 and takes Disturbing Presence, I level two (Foul Appearance and +ST!!!)

Goat Variations 1 - 1 Mad Goat Disease

A tale of two halves in which I could do no wrong during the first half as Strazos received the kick-off, and I couldn't buy a good block in the second.  Same for Strazos, but in reverse.  I probably could have done a better job caging in the second half or tried to pass or something, but it was hard to see any good opportunities to do so.  I think we both played good games, and the tie was deserved.

I am now sitting on six goats with 5 SPPs though and I'm really feeling that lack of skills.

I echo the above - got slow-rolled in the first half, and then defeated Ruvaldt in detail in the second half.

I had two goats level, so I gave them Guard, because...why the heck not.

That was just a super frustrating match. First turn I lose my guy with guard. My block dice started out pretty well, but as I lost numbers, I lost any ability to make anything but desperation moves. I started the game with a blitz that knocked over one of his guys and allowed my blitzer to catch the kickoff. But it went tits up after that. Fucking UI piece of monkey shit screwed me when I wanted the ball carrier to blitz the guy in front of him but instead he just blocked because I didn't hit the blitz key. I thought I might have been able to keep him out of the endzone first half but he managed to get it free enough to score on the final turn of the half. Starting the second half down 5 guys really hindered any offense, especially when my extra arm guy couldn't pick up the ball and the snowstorm kept me from being able to pass. The game was over by turn 10 and I knew it.

I fucking hate Beastmen.

Yeah, not a fan of this all-beastman experiment...makes for some dull games that largely hinge on dice since they're such mirror matches.

Also, I wish I could get some injury dice like that - maybe get some damn skills.

I've enjoyed it.  I'll enjoy it more once a few more beastmen get skills.

Likewise. I'd like to see a second season just to see how the teams work with a bit of development behind them.

I see you have a player out. I should probably win. You're good at coming second in competitions.

Tonight's not great unless you're willing to stay up a bit later, tomorrow ok?

So to make everyone's life easier Lamaros and I played tnight and it was a 3-0 result to me.

Lamaros had the sort end of the stick, giving a Bloodweiser Babe as an inducement which was enough to ensure my 6 KOs always returned to get slapped while Lamaros' one KOed beast caught up on sleep.

Nuffle did not favour the Clawing mighty beasts but instead favoured the plucky TD whores that break wind.

Bring on Day 5!  awesome, for real
