Link: Dai Senryaku VII: Modern Military TacticsI wasn't going to mention this until next week, but it seems to fit in a specific set of niches many of us have been looking for. 1. It's a console strategy game (Xbox). 2. It's has a built-in map editor. 3. It's polygon based table gaming in video game form. 4. Turnbased, fully 3-d love. 5. It's $19.99 Biggest fault - no Live support. So we can't play eachother. Which is ass. But for $19.99 I don't think I have the ability to say no. Also, across the board, reviews have been better than decent. I'd take all those with a grain of salt though considering that the reviewers probably consist of two types of people: hardcore tabletop gamers or people who can't wrap their heads around the system.

Damn, that looks good, and you got me really excited until you said no Live support. Fuck. That just calls out for online support. FUCK.
But for $20, I might have to pick that up.

I'm still jonesing the hell out of the game (I wish Warhammer40k would come out in this format), but without Live support it truly does make me cry.

I don't use Live enough. I don't think I've played a game over Live since I figured out that there are people that do nothing but play Top Spin 24/7 and can mop the floor with me in very cheesey, untennislike fashions.
Still, this game looks yummy. I will buy it, likely won't play it a lot since I'm still cramming WoW into my veins. But 20 bucks is too good to pass up.

I'm hearing this is basically a 3-D port of Advance Wars from the GBA to the XBox. Still, I love Advance Wars, and like previously stated, it's only 20 dollars. I've been wanting to trade NFSU2 in on something anyway.
