How is it? Interesting concept, from reading about it.

Is that the first person shooter based Tower Defense game?
I tried the demo for it a while back. Interesting implimentation. Suffered from the standard problem I have with a lot of tower defense games, which is that unless you know EXACTLY where to place your towers and what to buy in the early game, you usually get slaughtered in short order because you run out of resources / cant kill wave X when you need to.
I think I made it to around wave 4 or 5 before i gave up.
I think my biggest gripe with it was that the camera system is a pain in the ass, since it is tied to your First Person / Third Person Avatar, and you cant zoom out to get a good look at the entire battlefield efficiently during combat.

I liked the idea, but I think the implementation and features of Dungeon Defenders is going to be better.

A strategic game in first person just doesn't seem to make any sense at all. As a "mess around" option I could see, like in dungeon keeper, but as the primary mode.

Tab switches to an overall top down view that shows mobs and lets you port to one of your elevator towers. Plus you can stand up on top of your gun towers to get a decent view.
Monday Night Combat is another interesting tower defense/FPS hybrid.

I actually prefer first person (or over the shoulder) strategy games, like Battlezone, because they feel more immediate and less like board games. If you've got an overhead view, it's got a lot less visually interesting to me. This game, though, not so much (tower defense is usually visually pretty nonsensical anyway).
