LinkyCheck what DRM may be present before you purchase. E.g. the Dead Space 1 & 2 package is on Origin *not* Steam. |

There's a cheap-ass gamer code on some of those, too.

Best of sale to me:-Blacklight Tango Down 4-pack for $3.
-Last Remnant for $5. Steam stopped putting this on sale. Its not good but if you refuse to take out your PS3 and you have a jrpg itch...? Maybe its worth playing? Someone did a good BiiF on it once that sums up how its sort of not bad but has lots of bad bits.
-Gyromancer $5. I remember some loving this and calling it better than Puzzle Quest in every way and some people really really hating it.
-DC Universe Lightning Strikes unlock $4. If you haven't played DC Universe its actually a pretty shallow but fun run around and mash mouse to kill things super hero beat em up / diablo / CoH. However they gate many of the "powersets" behind cash shop. This is one of them for half off.

Also I have a question, there are about 20 Disciples games on sale. What's going on there and which if any are not shit?

A nation consists of its laws. A nation does not consist of its situation at a given time. If an individual's morals are situational, then that individual is without morals. If a nation's laws are situational, that nation has no laws, and soon isn't a nation.-William Gibson

I grabbed Last Remnant for $3.75 after the discount and tbh its much better than I was expecting. The combat system is pretty cool. I'm pretty sure I'm going to hack myself infinite money though because I hate being the chosen one to save the world but too broke to buy an axe. |

I rally liked The Last Remnant - it's one of the few JrPGs I've finished. Like all of them it has a totally nonsensical story, takes forever to get going and has grinding and pointless battles up the wazoo. But it's battle system is really interesting and clever and I found it hugely enjoyable. |

Does the PC version have the same terrible framerate problems as the 360? I remember playing it on the console when it first came out but the battles ran so poorly that I quit in frustration. |

No, the PC version is really good.  It has some questionable issues with the design, but they really cleaned the Pc version up from the console, from what I understand.
I bored of it after awhile and never went back.  But I see the potential.

I had to force vsync and some other options but it was an easy fix and once I did the game has run pretty much flawlessly except in I think one area and for a split second in a couple of cutscene load-ins. Zero fps issues. Great combat system. Really needs a way to con monsters though I never know if I should gather all of them for phat loots or pick them off one by one. |
