Some shit has just turned up on there that was completely absent from the entire goddamn internet for years, was never an album release anyway, and I'm not trusting the notion that it will never get pulled. Google lists a million tools, but I just wanted to know if there's one that's the best/standard.

http://keepvid.com/ is a pretty good resource for ripping the videos, either in flv or mp4. You could use that, then find something that will take the audio out of the video file.

There are a lot of sites that claim to do the job, but if you start poking through you'll quickly find that most of them want you to install spyware or accept a free credit card offer or someshit. I think the one I found most recently that actually worked without hassle was vidtomp3.com.
