I got a taste of it at their demo event in Los Angeles. What was interesting was the amount of cutscenes and exposition that sets up the start of the game. I think it's at least 20 minutes (including a mini-game involving motorcycles with chainsaws and a group of zombies; most zombies killed wins; has nothing to do with core gameplay; will be a multiplayer mode) before you got into the meat of the game. First Dead Rising was like that, that's fine.
The game can get crazy fast. This is very much a game where you can do a lot more to have fun and be silly, but at the expense of a likely good run through the game. The combinations they have are neat though!
Oh, and their first DLC was announced: Dead Rising 2 - Case: West, which adds Frank West to the game as a Co-Op partner.
Oh yeah, looking forward to any Co-Op anyone wants to engage in. :3

I think after Case Zero's success(?) that I'm looking forward to these.
