I I just remembered two other fun single player games.  This thread has been very therapeutic in curbing my negative Wii memories.

Dawn of Discovery is a streamlined / simplified Anno 1404 city and economic engine building game with a fun campaign mode that surprised me with good voice acting and funny dialogue.  It didn't feel like a dumbed down PC port like how I felt with Civilization Revolution.

Little King's Story is like Pikmin but better in every way.   Very funny and has RPGish elements that provide deeper gameplay. Unfortunately the graphics are jaggy enough to cut diamonds.

Neither game would have lost anything in terms of control if they had come out for the Xbox / PS3 but they would have looked much nicer which would have enhanced the experience.  Such a shame.
