I guess I'm just behind the times. Just saw an EA rant thread and dragged out my old one. Haven't really been paying much attention to the gaming world as of late.

You keep old rants lying around and just shove em out whenever you think they might be half appropriate without any investigation if things have changed?

Talking about their history, DRM policy, and other historical behavior is a bad idea? Plenty of other people can fill you in on the now.

But at least they have been Trying with their NHL franchise, and they still have competition from 2k.

That competition is going to die off all on its own unless 2k cleans up their product this fall. Not sure how many shit releases they can have in a row.

2k has always had buggy-ass league play (even when it was vastly superior to the EA offerings). Not sure being shitty is going to stop them.

I'm not even talking about bugs - I didn't play it enough to see any. Their production values have just plummeted.
