Anyone in a PAL territory that can either help me get hold of the standalone disc for 360 for a decent price, or knows of a decent online store that has it for a decent price?
It's totally unavailable here in Australia, but the PAL versions from elsewhere work fine.

Have you tried Play.com? They're very reliable and fast, dunno what postage to Oz would be like though.

Yeah, I looked at 'em before I posted. Their free delivery/delivery fullstop extends only to the UK and Europe.

I foud it on their terms and conditions page under International customers

Quote
We are happy to offer most of our products to international customers. However, please note that we are unable to ship games consoles or digital music players to customers living outside of the UK. Below are details that you will find useful when placing orders to be shipped outside of the UK.

Standard Airmail: You will be charged a shipping cost for each item placed on your order - Europe £2.50, Rest Of The World £4.50. Upon entering the shipping country, deliveries will enter the postal system of the country concerned. It is our experience that goods delivered using this method arrive within 5-7 days of despatch for European destinations, and within 7-10 days of despatch for the Rest Of The World.

Overseas Courier Delivery:You will be charged a shipping cost for each item placed on your order - Europe £27, Rest Of The World £37. Orders will be dispatched using FedEx. This method is fully secure, and we can track and trace the shipment for you. Orders placed by this method should reach you within 2-3 days of despatch for European destinations, and within 3-5 days of despatch for the Rest Of The World. Orders sent via this method will require a signature upon receipt.

We would request that you register a contact telephone number when using our Express shipping method. This will mean that the courier can contact you should they be unable to locate your address.

Customers ordering for delivery outside of the UK will be responsible for payment of any local taxes payable including VAT, and will be required to pay extra for delivery and clearance where necessary.
Customs Charges

If you are ordering goods for delivery outside of the UK, please note that your consignment may be subject to import duties and taxes, which are levied once the goods reach the country of destination. Any such charges levied in relation to customs clearance must be borne by you. Did you mean they'll charge me £37 for the shipping? (courier) Plus £40 for the game itself. £77 total.

I initially read your post as £37, shipped.

One of those comes under "at a decent price". The other is the opposite.

I'm actually looking for somewhere in the ballpark of £35-37, inclusive of Shipping to Australia.

I was looking at the international courier price for the shipping. The standard airmail cost is £4.50 which would make the total £44.50 - which is actually less than I paid for my copy in my local HMV here in Ireland....

Yeah just bought it. I was really after something a lot closer to AU$RRP, but seeing as it probably won't be released here for another year, and it's a XMas present for the wife I bit the bullet.
