It's built to run on a dinky cell phone. So, no, it runs just fine on a PC, even with the JRE in the equation.
I'm still slightly in shock that someone built a cell phone game this good. I've actually been playing the multiplayer at home, even with TF2 right there waiting for me. It's nuts. I hope this wears off soon.
