Sony has been really good about pumping shit out. So I'm just gonna dump the stuff into this thread. Where applicable, I'm going to use the Japanese information. 12/06/07Folklore Packs: Add-On Pack 1: “The Kidnapped Folk” Set during the timeframe of the original story, this is your opportunity to return to Doolin – gateway to the Netherworld – and take Ellen and Keats’ extraordinary adventure a little bit further. The quests include a mission to recapture a kidnapped Folk and an attempt to regain the trust of Brumbear’s soldiers. The pack also includes a new look for Ellen and a Folk called Maximillian who has a mean cannonball attack. Add-On Pack 2: “”Bottom of the Sea” Search the seabed for a mysterious item requested by Damona, get to the bottom of an accident that takes place in the Endless Corridor and complete the Wandering Thoughts mission started in “The Kidnapped Folk” Add-On. For Anime fans, Keats gets a “familiar” body suit that appears when he is in his “trancenscion” state and can face Phutcampus, a new Folk to defeat. $3.99 a piece or both for $5.99. Just a note: Japan has 6 volumes already, 2 promo downloads, and a christmas outfit set. = Beats//SCEE London  Given that I only have this image to go from since I'm at work, I'll guesstimate. Considering you bring your own mp3s into the game and it outputs the guitaroo-ish screen above, it seems pretty straight forward. Press the generated button presses with the song. Weeeeee. Probably be $5-$8. No straight PR yet. = High Velocity Bowling It's bowling. = Rock Band PacksBlack Sabbath Pack 1 ($5.49) - N.I.B., Sweet Leaf, War Pigs (also available for $1.99 each) = If anyone wants to do a JPY or a EUR one, by all means. One thing I noticed that was apparently added with this batch of stuff was the original Wild Arms for the Playstation. As that was about the only one in the series I've ever enjoyed or bothered playing all the way through, I was pleasantly surprised to see it. Alter Code F or whatever it was, sucked.

Well, since the developers not only wished to but succeeded in punching me in the balls with their hard fucking game, I think it's only fair. I love the concept but I can't get past the fourth board.

Looks like Square Enix is finally starting to put some of their stuff up on the Japanese PSN. From the thread on NeoGaf: Square Enix has announced in this month's Dengeki Playstation due out on Friday that they are committing to releasing their classics on PSN. Starting TODAY (25th June), they will release Xenogears and Einhander on PSN, for 600yen each. There are 12 key titles that they plan on releasing on Game Archives, starting with Xenogears. There isn't a clean full scan of the interview yet, so this is all I know right now to be 100% accurate. Discuss.
Edit: The following titles are coming out TODAY, at 600yen each. They're all under the S-E label.
Xenogears (Square)
Einhander (Square)
Astronoka (Enix)
Rakugaki Showtime (Enix)
Raystorm (Taito)
Fighters Impact (Taito) Hopefully at least some of this will make its way over to the U.S.. |
