Over the weekend we had a GTA4 party (BBQ and all that jazz). But we had some issues with GTA4 and the multiplay. Not sure if it was the ps3 negotiating the network with 2 machines, or if it was the PSN to blame.
Anyone have similar experiences with 2x ps3s over the same net connection?

We've had no such problems, at least that I know of. There can be problems with the controllers having a hard time deciding which PS3 to belong to, but that's easily fixed with the controller cable.

Yeah, that i didn't have a problem with. I am starting to think its simply GTA4, and not the PS3 or the network. Warhawk works flawlessly. I was just wondering if anyone else had this issue.

We have 2 PS3s 30 feet from eachother, had no issues playing games together online.

Specifically GTA4? Perhaps its my friends router then? I'm not a network guy...so i am really dumb about this stuff. What are you guys running network wise, connection, router all that. If you don't mind me asking.

Specifically GTA4. Our router is a Shuttle running PFSense. If he has just some plain jane router, like a WRT45 or something, I can't imagine it not working, there really shouldn't be conflict. Try having him assign IP addresses to each one.
