Hey guys, I am looking to try and find a couple good Coop titles for the PS3. Now the problem being is that I have a lot of the cross platform titles already on Xbox, but two of my good friends just got PS3s and I was trying to find some thing we could play together.
I like shooters and action games and RPGs, but I am not really in to sports games, except the "extreme sports".
Anyone have any ideas?

Can't think of much that's out right now. Resistance 2 releases in November though and has an 8 player co-op campaign (in addition to the single player campaign).

PixelJunk Monsters is pretty entertaining coop. It's the only coop game I've played on PS3 now that I think about it.

Don't duck. Those games provide entertainment. The games I can think of are typically better on PC (UT3, COD4, Orange Box). |

Most of the PS3 arcade games have some co-op in them. I recomend (in order of awesomeness):
1-PJmonsters (one of the greatest/hardest games i've ever played...awesome co-op)
2-superstardust HD
3-puzzle fighters 2 (if you like that kind of thing, not really co-op)
I believe Resistance: fall of man has up to 4 player local multiplayer, which you could do co-op teams.
coming out soonish (this year) is streetfighter 2 HD, LittleBigPlanet (should be good co-op), resistance 2 (co-op campaign)

Its not the best game ever, but Haze had 4 player online over psn co-op. I believe players can even jump in and out at any time.

I thought about that, by I havent heard anything but horror stories about that game. Maybe I will try it. |
