Would anyone be interested in playing a weekly game of multi-player D2?
We'd need to decide what b.net server.  I think an 8 player game would be amazing and result in broken mice.

That is an excellent idea.

I will not participate.

Unfortunately my work schedule isn't consistent enough to commit to doing anything on a weekly basis.

I would do this, but I'm still a diablo noob - I never rushed scenes and I didn't cheat and I think I played all the way through once.

I'm on East. Name the time.

My amazons are still in existance in East. A level 81 strikazon and two bowazons at levels 84 and 85. Those two are witchyzons, one by design, one by chance. They're all good to go at a moment's notice. I also have a level 40ish tankazon, but that's a very specialized character.

Of course, if you want to do a, ummm...crap, forget what it's called...new ladder games? Whatever. New dedicated characters are good, too, though I'm not sure what sort of 'zon I'd be inclined to.

I think we should play west.

And play the worst characters we can come up with.

Hardcore mode.

I'd last maybe 5 minutes.

I'd probably do this. Assuming you don't mind that I suck, and assuming I can...locate...a Lord of Destruction key. I...mislaid...mine somewhere.

I'd like to get in on this too, but I'm not sure if I have my LoD CDs around...  I'll check when I get home.  Man, I wish I could recover my characters...  Had a 96 javazon and a 92 necro.  Played way too much.

Also, West is Best.

Fuck a bunch of West. East is where the cool kids hang out.

Although, my schedule pretty much demands I hang with West coast people. Still, my 'zons are on East and want to plaaaaayyy...

I'm reinstalling this tonight. There MUST be a widescreen hack for it.

Though I do have a 17" monitor that's 4:3 I use for utility stuff I can probably set up for this.

I still have my LoD CDs, so I can reinstall the game and get playing this week.  My roommate's interested, too.  Hardcore mode, USWest, and you want a bad character?  I'll play a fucking sparkle mage: charged bolt and nothing but.  Fear me.

I was debating playing a melee only necro. Or an assassin that never uses melee.

Unfortunately, my D2 discs are so old that they've composted themselves into a rich loam.

Also, if I were to actually get online I'd just relentlessly Barbarian Leap the shit out of everything until I was booted, because I fucking love that YAWP he makes.  I passed Hell with a Barb named Leapy McJump.  You know what I'm talking about.

I've got an extra D2 key it seems, but no extra LoD key. If someone wants the regular key -and will actually play- I'll pass it along.

That's because you need to patch the shit out of it to run on a current mac. Were you able to grab 1.11?

It's actually completely broken on Penryn MacBooks.  No fix appears to be forthcoming, either.
