No, it's not some creepy Japanese game. I don't really think I know exactly what it is yet. Nor do I have anything but scepticism as to its chances of commercial success. But I really like the art style, which is surreal, and a welcome move away from the twin paradigms of uncanny-valley realism or WoW-aping conservatism. And the development costs seem kinda manageable (one guy), so long as he really is serious about his limited user-number goals. Nice indie project driven by the right reasoning. I like the art style... It makes for very pretty screenshots, but I have to wonder how well it would work in motion.

Dear god, he should not be allowed to speak. Ever.
I really hope that the whole .5FPS thing was just the shitty camera too, and the game wasn't actually running that poorly.
Aside from that, it looks pretty neat, hopefully someone competant will steal his art ideas.

Those were screenshots running as a slideshow. And I'm not a VC, so I'd rather listen to a really passionate developer than a slick marketeer any day.
