I found this video via an article on Boing Boing.

It's well-made and somewhat entertaining. Oh, and informative, too.  Grin

That's a great one. It just needs the (mythical) Heavy Hitters added.

We could have a vote which type everybody represents and get their avatars changed accordingly. We'd have fun for months, the equivalent of at least ten Godzillas  lumbering through the forums awesome, for real

I would be up for voting and changing avatars temporarily. Much more interesting to see what other people think than try to pick yourself out.

If you can prove that it is not one of the ones they currently have, and are able to describe its traits, post it on their forms and it could get added.

I should get back to nature, too.  You know, like going to a shop for groceries instead of the computer.  Maybe a condo in the woods that doesn't even have a health club or restaurant attached.  Buy a car with only two cup holders or something. -Signe

They have no entry for the Pandora.

This form of troll appears cute and cuddly, but like all wild animals is prone is vicious attacks with little or no provocation.  Fortunately it is not capable of any significant damage to itself or others so it can be ignored without much difficulty.  If causing a problem though, tossing something shiny in its direction usually distracts it long enough to cease any problems.  Otherwise prone to strange behavior which leaves people alternately scratching their heads or going 'awww'.  Shown to have a strange affinty (read: obsession) with cute animals.

What the hell is happening in that picture? And what is your obsession with Red Pandas, has that ever been explained? And no, "they're cute" will not suffice. I need something juicy like you were raised by a family of Red Pandas in a cave.

The picture is a cap from a video of this Japanese lady living with red pandas for a day.  They're kind of playful, so it had just nuzzled her very hard, then reared back to bonk her on the face with its own. Meh, it's easier to watch than explain.

The rest of it is a joke.  I had a red panda avatar and people started saying they believed I really was one in a 'who are you?' picture thread.  Johnny Cee thought I was an escaped red panda who got lose on the internet.  Given the popularity of Firefox, and how most people think it's a fox and not an alternate name for red panda, I've run with it and get to make tiny jokes no one catches.  Basically I do think they're adorably cute, but it lets me amuse myself by playing along with the forum's joke perception and be smothered in cuteness as I hunt down material.

Also, I think we started a trend as the amount of red panda material out there has gone from three pictures to more than I can ever possibly search through.  It's become cute porn.

Hahahaha!  I'm really good at this!

That hits a little too close to home.

I always loved how it looks like the panda is laughing at her when it bonks her as she tries to sleep.
