Peavey wants to sell you real woodThese things apparently started out as package deals where you had to buy two controllers and a copy of the game as well. Now you can get the controls separately. Only catch, as far as I can tell, they only make them PS2 compatible at the moment. Probably nothing a little cable splicing wouldn't fix, but if you're gonna pay 400 bones for a controller, you shouldn't have to.

I did wonder why they have, like, 75 different skins for Kiss and Skynnard. Even though I'm no huge Pantera fan, it struck me as odd their only having one skin in comparison.

The whole guitar hero thing baffles me but this is just insane. My first real guitar cost less than that and I played actual shows with it.  Also, guitars are heavy and easy to bang up while sitting on any type of chair with arms. Do people usually stand while playing this? |

Some of us play our plastic guitars in the stance we were taught for classical guitar with precision and posture, but not all guitars support that playstyle...

I play an offset. They were partly designed to have sitting in mind. Plus, they look so much cooler than everything else (Jags, JM's, Gibson Firebirds, etc).
