Peavey wants to sell you real wood

These things apparently started out as package deals where you had to buy two controllers and a copy of the game as well. Now you can get the controls separately.

Only catch, as far as I can tell, they only make them PS2 compatible at the moment. Probably nothing a little cable splicing wouldn't fix, but if you're gonna pay 400 bones for a controller, you shouldn't have to.

Tuned in, immediately get to watch cringey Ubisoft talking head offering her deepest sympathies to the families impacted by the Orlando shooting while flanked by a man in a giraffe suit and some sort of "horrifically garish neon costumes through the ages" exhibit or something.  We need to stop this fucking planet right now and sort some shit out. -Kail

They look good, but not $400 good.

If it had a hot plug and worked with every version of the game AND Rock Band. I would buy one.

I kind of like the first one.  Way too much KISS and Skynryd.  Yuk.

I don't know what I'm doing in this thread.  I don't belong here.

I did wonder why they have, like, 75 different skins for Kiss and Skynnard. Even though I'm no huge Pantera fan, it struck me as odd their only having one skin in comparison.

The whole guitar hero thing baffles me but this is just insane.  My first real guitar cost less than that and I played actual shows with it.  ACK!

Also, guitars are heavy and easy to bang up while sitting on any type of chair with arms.  Do people usually stand while playing this?

Which part baffles you?

As for playing, I sometimes stand, and sometimes sit on the edge of the couch.

What's wrong with a simple finish and none of the faggy decals?  I want my guitar to look like something Muddy Waters would play, not something a 14 year old would think looked cool.

I would assume that most people would stand bounce around a lot because they are pretending to be rock stars, right?

Some of us play our plastic guitars in the stance we were taught for classical guitar with precision and posture, but not all guitars support that playstyle...

I play an offset. They were partly designed to have sitting in mind. Plus, they look so much cooler than everything else (Jags, JM's, Gibson Firebirds, etc).

I played standing with a foot on the coffee table like I was rocking a monitor.

Too bad the Pantera guitars aren't Deans. Wtf.
