The winner of the 2007 Indy game festival has released a demo.

Official Aquaria page.

Played it a bit, not bad at all.  Sort of reminds me of a mouse-driven Ecco the Dolphin meets Master of the Lamps.

Yes. Played the demo and I found it to be quite relaxing. I'm thinking of picking up the full game. They did a damn nice job on it. Also, when I found out she could "sing", I couldn't help but spend damn near 20 minutes initially playing my own little solos along with the soundtrack music. I stopped several more times throughout the demo just to "jam". Call me crazy, but the use of music and song is definitely a great aspect of the game.

Yup, it is pretty relaxing, and the boss are actually kinda interesting. I asked them to publish through steam so I can't misplace their game.

Yep. At $29.99 just waiting for it to hit steam.

Demo had some really neat ideas.

I played the demo.  It was okay for a while and then it made me sleepy.  I don't know if it was the relative lack of action or the voice that did it, though.  It was almost as good as ear plugs, a sleep mask and a couple of Ambien.
