Up until now, I've just been using msn.com as my home page.  Never really thought about personalizing it any.  Ideally, I'd love to set it up to automatic RSS feeds, local weather, local news, gaming news, that sort of thing.  Is there anything out there flexible enough to do something like that?  Even better is if it could manage multiple email accounts.  Short of building some sort of webpage (which I lack the knowledge of how to do so) that does it for me, is there such an animal?

Seconded. Have my weather, news, email, RSS and stocks as mine. TY GMAN.

Yes, it's very customizable.  And I haven't tried, but you can route your hotmail, msn mail etc into it.

Since I'm a sports junkie, everytime I open a web browser it goes to http://www.tsn.ca

I'll have to check out iGoogle to get my sports information even more finely tuned.

Have you tried the internet? It's made out of millions of people missing the point of everything and then getting angry about it

I use Netvibes.  Great RSS reader, and has tons of widgets for other things like weather.

I am of the no-page homepagers.  We like our browsers to load up fast.

I like to just have Firefox open the tabs I had open when I closed it. Makes for a bit of a slow startup but I can leave things open for later reference and pick up where I left off on other things.

Y'know... The world could use a really slick, themeable, broadband heavy portal. iGoogle or Yahoo on steroids. Nothing so far is cutting it.

[EDIT] Maybe there's room for me to cash in on the dotcom boom yet. Who's with me?  tongue

I've wanted to do that for ages but with gaming/tech news. Not enough places have RSS feeds to steal from though :(

http://gmachina.com/ has quite a number of gaming news feeds although it's not customisable or anything.

GameTab does that too. They frame outgoing links though which is lame.
