For those of you that have tried it, is the Xfire voice chat any good? How many people can you chat with simultaneously?

I am not sure about how many folks you can have, but it is decent. Nothing special, and there are better apps out there IMO.

The voice quality is decent.  Whomever is hosting it though, takes an increasing performance hit (not mild either) as you add more people to the chat.  Last time I used it, it was too resource hoggish once we got up to 6-7 people.  2-3 worked fine (but the person running the chat still feels it)

I don't know the limit, it's probably just limited by what your resources can handle.

Why not just use Skype?
