Hopefully it'll be better than 3.  That one was soft and flacid.

Tinkerbell has been naughty.  Was it with the Pan or Rufio?

After trudging through WA3 I didn't even notice that 4 came out. Is it even worth playing?

The first 4 games were mediocre.  Not sure why this one would be any different.

As someone who has played a number of JRPG's I'm betting you can name at least 30 games in said genrre that have been released since the PS1 era that are better than Wild Arms 1.

At the time I enjoyed Wild Arms 1 a lot.  However, the amount of fucking hideous status effects that the battles throw at your party, combined with how numerous the random battles are, is enough to make me very apprehensive at the idea of playing it again, even if the music rocked my socks off.

Although, I having been toying with the idea of finally playing that ps2 remake still sitting on my shelf once I finish Okami.

"Hmmm", I say to myself.  "I've never even heard of Wild Arms 1-4, but it sounds like some crazy, off the wall Rise of the Triad-style shooter judging by the name"...

And then I click through to discover ever more of the same cookie cutter anime bullshit.  I fucking hate Japan.

Wild Arms 1 was a formulaic but really well done/fun JRPG. The rest sucked.

I made a choice between Suikoden 1 and Wild Arms 1 for my PSX in the wait for FFVII. I went with Suikoden 1 and I've never felt regret over that choice. Didn't give Wild Arms 1 a shot until much later and never fancied it enough to complete it.
