I've played the Overlord demo on Xbox Live, and so far it looks like it'll be something I'll definitely pick up.  Just watching the gremlins put pots on their heads and assemble makeshift armor out of various scraps laying around is entertaining.

It was entertaining.  But they're attempt at 'evil' really sucked.  I mean, they had a thinly vieled attempt to just put shitty goody quests in there by saying "dead peasents don't do anything, better for them to worship you!".  So I had to rescue a village.

Those faults aside I'll also probably be picking this one up.  It probably won't offer much in replay but the goblins themselves and running them around is pretty entertaining.

I don't see the point in not killing peasants if they are just going to worship me though.  I should be able to send them off on some evil tasks or something.

Maybe it's just Vista, but...

Overlord crashed my computer twice.  I dropped the graphics to low and then it only froze itself, about halfway through the tutorial.

~sigh~

I had a few moments of doubt in Overlord as to why I was attacking the "evil" halflings and helping the villagers, but then decided that they were my villagers to abuse and no one else.

Fun game, I want minions.  Definite pick-up.

Yeah, I did the overlord demo over the weekend (X360).  Seems cool, I'll probably get it when it releases.  Also tried Slypheed, meh.
