Story

Pretty intense video when you find it, it's being taken down a lot of places. It's creepy to hear him realize he's going to die and say "bye"

I'm still confused on how all the articles claim he impacted at 80mph when watching the video of the jump it claims he is impacting at 25. It's about a fifth of the speed of a "freefall" like everyone is calling it but amazing still that he survived.

Edit: Found a copy here.

I think this guy deserves the "F U Darwin" Award.

Hahaha, Nebu beat me to the Darwin joke.

Really though, thrill or no thrill, people who put themselves in any situation where Things can Fail And You Die are always near the top of my Darwin list.

This guy cheated death.

I saw a piece about this on the news (he's Australian IIRC) and he says he is going to skydive again. I don't understand how you possibly could.

Better not step outside the house then, or even move from your bed. Watch out for falling telephone poles and the like though.

Really, everything is a risk if you break it down .. heck, I'm more worried about dying in a car wreck going home *every single day* than I am about getting into an accident flying or sky diving the few times a year I do it.
