Cool places to go for my wife and I to go while the grandparents watch our kids? We'll be there all day on Saturday and Sunday scoping the area.

Any thoughts anyone has on where to live in RI or south-eastern MA welcome too :)

I'd search out Lovecraft's grave, or take the walking tour of the places that appear in his work.

More later - meetings now.

All I know about Providence is that it has a lot of strip clubs.

I used to live in Wakefield, RI and it was very nice.  There's a great place called Mew's Tavern that has a ton of quality beers on tap, IIRC.  Providence seemed too nasty for general livin'.  Another area that has an interesting mix of incomes and neighborhoods is Westerly, RI.  However, I wouldn't recommend Westerly for living.

Hey, you can't beat Newport if you can afford it.

I traded in my fun blog for several legal blogs. Or, "blawgs," as the cutesy attorney blawgosphere likes to call 'em.

Thanks all.

And Newport, yep. Beautiful area. I am thinking about 400 feet of waterfront property there, but I can't decide between the 4,500 and 5,000 sq ft house and guest houses. The trouble is trying to find a way to fit my Bently and McLaren on the limited frontage they could give me for a good driveway. I've talked to the city council, but they aren't budging. I'll probably just end up running for Mayor and change the city zoning laws.

(read: nothing I do in this life will allow me to afford Newport ;) ).
