I stumbled across a May blog post about compulsive WoW-playing from someone who claimed to be making a Morgan Spurlock-style (Super Size Me) documentary about playing MMOGs. Not sure if he was just trying to sell his documentary, but he claimed to have became a compulsive WoW player instead of making his film. Maybe that includes beta, and is rounded up a little bit? Very early closed beta in that case One of the guys I know who plays WoW currently was playing it back in closed beta, before I'd even quit SWG yet. I forget exactly when that was, but 3 years seems plausible. |
