Seems cool. No widescreen support, though. Kind of baffling given that it's a 360 title, which is 720p widescreen. Hopefully they fix that, since the game has a lot of GTA-style promise, sans thuglife.

Im pretty sure it was widescreen on my TV. I played the game for 20 minutes. Just enough to know that I will for sure buy it, and that I love their targetting system. I cant wait for this game.

No 720p in the menu. I was playing at a stretched 1024x768. Checked out the widescreengamingforum, apparently there's no hack.

Driving was real twitchy using the keyboard, I didn't hook up the gamepad yet. Being so used to BF2, crouching behind cover and using slow tactical advances, it was a bit odd to run-n-gun and take like 300 bullets in Just Cause. Had an odd graphical anomaly where I couldn't see the ocean water, jumped off a cliff with a purloined jeep and wondered why it was moving so slow...until a boat went past.

Stunt system is cool beans. Should be a fun title.

Ahh, I didnt know they where releasing this for PC. As far as I know ALL Xbox360 titles are widescreen. You dont get to mess with the screen res in the 360 games, you set it for the xbox, and all the games will default to what your xbox is set at.

Sky, as a videophile, you owe it to yourself to go buy a Xbox360.

It being 720p native like all 360 titles is why I'm left scratching me head and cursing in mumblety-curse like Yosemite Sam that it's not 1280x720 on the pc. Conspirasah!

I'm toying with the idea of a 360. Fight Night looks great, not sure what else I'd get, though. I wouldn't buy any next-gen console before it had a GTA, anyway. And I plan on building a new pc this winter, after two vacations in New England this fall, so there's quite the cash flow issue.

Well, Xbox360 is getting Saints Row in the next few days, and then Just Cause, which are both very GTA like. Saints Row could be called GTA: Gangs, and Just Cause could be GTA: Dominican Republic (or some thing like that). Also, Dead Rising, and Burnout Revenge are enough to justify the purchase IMO, if you have the money. If your scraping pennys together, then I would say hold off, but if the $400 + live + games is not going to hurt to badly, I would suggest getting it.

Also, Xbox Live is very cool. Lots of neat little things. Oh, their VoIP is pretty crappy. They should have stolen Ventrillos code.

Not to mention My Xbox 360 Can Blog.

EVE Online supports widescreen.

Why am I homeless?  Why do all you motherfuckers need homes is the real question.

Oh, lol. Nah. We're not permanently hooked up to the net. We're at about 9300 or 9400 gamerpoints right now. We've all but finished 99 Nights (1 achievement left) and gotten about 10 more in Dead Rising since the last blog post.
