Damn, that is cool. My favorite was the guild chatter. It made me laugh.

That's definately got a higher production value than your average fan-movie.

It was shot on an EU server.  Can any euros that post here deny or confirm that the name is different there?

Witty banter not included.

I'm pretty sure it's called Gadgetzan everywhere, except in the minds of people who use "then" instead of "than". Lots of misspellings like this get used in-game and spread like wildfire because people subconsciously copy what their peers say. The map on the EU website has Gadgetzan.

The Name is the Same.  It was a typo mistake.  So fucking what ?

The Video beats my balls into hilarious submission.  Cut them some Slack.

I do, however, feel sorry for their friend, who they put in the newspaper 'ninja's another epic' which apparently he got grief for in game because people thought it was true.  It was just a wee joke.  Heh.

Weird.  I have never seen that particular misspelling.  But then on my server no one ever calls it "Living Strath", it's UD and SC strath.  I think every server must have its own subdialects to some extent.

On Tich it is usually Scarlet Strath and UD Strath, and a Baron run means a 45 minute timer-attack run for someone's .5 quest armor event.

Yes, and the vibrator was invented to treat hysteria.

Look at what made it popular, not the original intention.  :-D

He asked why it was created, not what made it popular with the majority of the 12 - 65+ male demographic.

Damn Weird Al for writing catchy lyrics and someone being visually creative, though.  I have to watch it for the twelfth time.

Fine, fine.  That we can blame on Mosaic then.  Sheesh, what a tough crowd.

Of course the related quote, "Several million then suddenly noticed that the Web might be better than sex" becomes apropos when substituting with for than.

Some pedant is going to point out that the web was born out of CERN, the European center for particle physics, while Mosaic was just the first graphical browser to be widely distributed, so it may as well be me. :)

This was also true for EQ1. (CAWU/NBG/etc) I'm sure that minor server-specific variations exist for names of things in most games of these types.
