Caught this link while perusing Lums blog. Kinda funny, especially after reading his adventures with Ms. Hiltons security detail. http://www.eurogamer.net/article.php?article_id=64682The gist: Paris is late to E3, gets on stage, and announces her excitement over a game but uses the wrong name.

No Nerf, but I put a link to this very thread and I said that you all can guarantee for my purity. I even mentioned your case, and see if they can take a look at your lawn from a Michigan perspective.

Too bad the pictures are either frightening or hilarious. I'm not sure.
I lol'ed....
This is why I avoid actually having my picture taken, at all costs.

Note that after the vapid tart had plugged the name "Diamond Quest", Gameloft, the company behind "Paris Hilton's Jewel Jam" quickly changed the name to "Paris Hilton's Diamond Quest" and said that Paris had got it right and their marketing bods were the fuckups.

I enjoyed Lum's pics. Raph looked great! He looks thinner and happy and all smiley. Unemployment really suits him! I hope he never works again.

Aren't you too old, or male, to play with dolls? You should donate them to someone that will appreciate them. Her address is... I enjoyed Lum's pics. Raph looked great! He looks thinner and happy and all smiley. Unemployment really suits him! I hope he never works again. I noticed he was looking good, too, although as a semi-kinda-Raph-fangirl I want him to work again.

I'm going to guess that it was the Scottish Development International booth. It's about attracting foreign investment in Scottish industry. Of course, I could be wrong - there were 16 Scottish games companies at E3.

Of course, I could be wrong - there were 16 Scottish games companies at E3. You are correct, sir! Sort of; it was, IIRC, sponsored by some agency of the Scottish government's economic development arm. Could be the one you mentioned. There were actually quite a few country-themed booths in the main halls this year, whereas they're usually down in the bowels of Kentia. The German booth was the primary one down there this time, where burly, surly German men looked amazingly busy. In West Hall was the UK booth and the Scotland booth, while the wacky Koreans had the South Hall (see our Power of Korea Game photo). There were also booths from the city of Hong Kong (which featured "a martial arts demonstration like walking in the space"), Singapore and several other, lesser nations. Primarily, these served the purpose of providing subsidized booth space to smaller companies with games to demonstrate. There were a number of Scottish game companies on display at the Scotland booth, although I don't have anything in my notes about them, nor can I find their press kit. Perhaps I'd've remembered more if they'd offered me a haggis.

Strangely, I think Paris' name is better than the original.
I still think she's disgusting, though.

They were certainly there: http://news.awn.com/index.php?ltype=cat&category1=E3&newsitem_no=16901Perhaps I'd've remembered more if they'd offered me a haggis.
I would suggest that single malt whisky would go down better, though perhaps its not ideal for memory. Perhaps Irn Bru 32 (the energy drink variant of the sickly sweet soft drink) instead. Or CD-ROM business cards.

6 months in Scotland and I never dared to try le haggis... 3 years later in Texas I still don't regret that decision.
Single malt scotch, on the other hand...

I order imports like wine gums, twiglets (eww) and pear drops, among other stuff. They're always out of Iron Bru, though. I don't buy haggis, though... I won't go that far! (double eww)

This is probably weird, but the thing I remember most about Scotland is fried bread. Those people will deep fry anything.

I saw a deep-fried Mars bar on the Food Network once. Sometimes the Scots get something right cuisine-wise, because that sounds AWESOME.

None of that pansy vegetable oil either, its traditional to fry the Mars bar in beef dripping.

And just to bring it back to the talentless bimbo in question, Paris Hilton is apparently releasing a hip-hop/reggae album.

I'm sure Rick and Kathy will be so proud, considering their daughter's previous attempts at "the famous life".

The latest pieces of cuisine art are the deep fried Twinkie and the deep fried Oreo cookie. Of course all of the ordinary deep fried whatevers are there too. I like the concept of deep fried cheese curds. That is essentially fat, rolled in fat and fried in fat. Make sure you coat it with more fat afterward in the form of butter. For the other sweeter confections, coat them in powdered sugar, generously!

I once had a deep-fried chocolate truffle. Fried sugar and bread crumbs around a incredibly dense molten chocolate center. Mmmm.
