Check this baby out.   I found it pretty interesting.  It makes me feel insignificant and worthless, but cosmically.  It's like the idea of God, it's just a concept of immeasuribility I can't even begin to grasp.

Pretty cool way to compare objects in space.  Really though, I think the bigger mindfuck is trying to cope with just how much space is between objects in space in relation to Human-size.  Nonetheless, we are all nothing in the scheme of things.

True that. Realizing the vastness and extreme nature of the universe should teach us all how to take it easy.

Not a hippy. Just did too much of the complete opposite, I guess.

Either way, I think it's the ultimate lesson of science. To try to have a cosmological perspective of thngs. And in that, the enlightenment gained from spiritualism or philosophy isn't much different.

[edit] Don't shoot. Not trying to mess up the thread. Carry on.

I actually found EVE to be a bit more mind-boggling than that, probably because it's 3D and stuff. Zoom all the way in on the map scren, and then zoom all the way out. Or get Celestia and mess around some in that (great program). Space is just mind-boggling.
