Pondering rerolling

Since doing some reading, I have found out my character (Avid Hawk) was created pretty gimped - she was totally not rolled up correctly for a combat role - she was started as
Gallente Intaki - which are apparently the worst combat pilots (Her stats suck!).

Also - I want to start using my regular character name again :P

She also only has a little over 300k in skill points so its not like I've put a ton of time into her.

I'm planning on keeping her as a hauler pilot and probably moving her to Bat Country.

Heres what I'm considering rolling (Thanks to Heartless' guide for the tips!)

+2 int, +2 per, +1 mem
Rebel background

Military school -> Operations -> Command -> Starship Captain.

Any thoughts?

Sounds like a fine plan, I think you can get 300k starting.

1)  Did you look at the two new bloodlines (Khanid and Archura) the guide your going off might be prior to the blood patch.

2)  Make sure you have a starting skill at IV

3)  You might want to change the +1 mem to +1 wp, if your really thinking combat focused.

If you're going combat, take advantage of character creation to get Frig IV for "free"; that's a significant SP boost for no cost.

Don't focus too hard on your stats.  I had no clue wtf I was doing when I made Marilea, so I tried to keep her stats all roughly equal.  I don't think it's really had any major impact.

Intaki are still the Int/Mem kings even after Bloodlines.  Yegolev is an Intaki and started with Per 3.  Refinery Efficiency 4->5 in 15 days.  Frig 4->5 in 28 days.

Fen Hu is a Khanid and started with Wil 10, Per 14, Gunnery 5, and Small Energy Weapon 4.  Getting Amarr Frig from 1 to 3 was a breeze.

I don't get the Minmatar love.  Is it the ships?  The shades?  Amarr smell like cinnamon.

Minmatar ships look like they're going to fall apart any minute now. I once had to use a minmatar shuttle for a quick 5 jump trip. I triple checked my clone just to be sure I get out of it without harm.
