No Nerf, but I put a link to this very thread and I said that you all can guarantee for my purity. I even mentioned your case, and see if they can take a look at your lawn from a Michigan perspective.

Isn't it about time the Irish assimilated into American culture?

I never get hungover because I'm not a filthy lush. I did watch the first Dr. Who episode, however, which made me want to start drinking. It is a drinking holiday, definitely. No one seriously celebrates some guy who allegedly drove snakes out of a place where there were no snakes to begin with, do they? I mean, religiously?

Happy belated St. Patty's Day. I think the hangover is finally gone (mostly).
It was a good day. Started at 10:00 and I cooked breakfast for myself and a few friends. Strata, Bagels, Guinness & Smithwicks. Following that we went downtown to watch the parade followed by heavy drinking until around 11 pm. Ever since I turned about 26 I just haven't been able to close the bars on those days when you start before noon.
Cleveland is a great place to be an Irish-Italian (which both the wife and I are.) Two of our biggest city-wide events are St. Patty's Day and the Feast of The Assumption. Cleveland almost looked like a real city on Friday, with people and everything.

We were going to go to a nice little acoustic music gig friday, some of the renfaire kids were going to be playing there, all celtic stuff of course.
Instead, just cooked a big meal and had a few beers with good conversation. The deciding factor was the venue: the local injun casino (I despise casinos).
Corned beef, garlic potatoes, corn, Guinness and Smithwicks.
