Given the number of failures we've seen in MMORPGs, designers need to learn it's hard enough just to make a fun game without getting distracted by unnecessary drivel.
Even though Prey was finally released, this is more bullshit. I think 3DRealms, as strictly developers, have somehow missed the train. They can just publish (albeit, barely). Somehow, they just don't know how to make games in this day and age. I don't think they've done anything in-house since the original Duke games.
