Interesting to say the least. The monsters don't look terribly scary, but the environments are pretty well done and the engine looks impressive considering it was all coded from scratch I think.

How long have you known it was the PSU? That's like, a 1-hour fix once you get the actual replacement unit. Or do Shuttles not have room for "normal" power supply units?

I downloaded it last night in between working, putting the boy to sleep, downloading more Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, and trying to figure out what the hell is wrong with my .torrent filetype association.  Then my wife had me play Grandia III.  It's going to grow moldy, sitting quietly next to my downloads of Helherron and Cave Story.

YES!@!!

Which reminds me I haven't posted anything in the anime recommendations thread in awhile, Schild have you seen this show yet?  You might actually like it.

Yoru got me hooked on it. I declare it to be teh awesomes.

Though I will admit, I felt a bit ripped off by this week's episode: (slight spoiler) About a third of the episode was just Haruhi singing. Now I have to suffer for another week for the next episode, or at least for another few days until a new episode for different series comes out.

I would. But all the fans in my computer have died and the power supply is unreliable. At this point the computer is relegated to web stuff/yelling at MMOG devs and baking cookies with Lum.

I downloaded it also.  However, it will not get played until I get past that damn antlion warrior in HL2:Ep1 and beat Civ4 on Prince with the new shuffle map.

Someone let me know if I should delete it.   smiley

Finally got to play the game. The engine pretty much amazes the hell out of me. Opening the lockers and having to actually move was very very nice. All the little touches to the way you interact with the environment made the immersion just that much more convincing. Basically, I felt more like I was in this game than I did in Half Life 2.

Unfortunately I couldn't figure out how to save and don't have that much gaming time left.

Perhaps maybe Fabricated should play and review it during a free weekend. I like talking about people like they aren't in the room.

I got stuck a bit in. I really liked how you interacted with the environment, but good god if your flashlight isn't totally useless because it runs out of juice after a minute. The glowstick sucks and flares aren't nearly as bright as they should be.

The glowstick's light distribution was pretty amazing I thought. For an independent game, if they actually fleshed it out, it'd be one of the most impressive projects I've ever seen.

I got tired of looking for a hose in the dark.  Still, with some money and direction, could be a great game.
