The best release week for PSP games yet. Seven games, these three are original IP.
Unfortunately they all require 2.0 or 2.5. Someone tell us how they are.

Maybe it's time to order the white PSP to play these games.

I'm hoping one of these gets good enough reviews to warrant buying. I'd play my money on KoP or LoH rather than the third person shooter, Infected. PSP original IP has gotten mostly poor reviews post-launch.

What are KOP and LOH about anyways? Never even heard of them.

LoH is a traditional RPG with somewhat of a retro look. KoP is more of an action RPG with voice work, cutscenes, etc. Both are getting pretty decent previews, but it seems like some are already disappointed with LoH's low production values. LoH, however, looks to be about twice as long.
Gamespot's PSP section has some decent previews, screenshots, and gameplay movies for both.

Gah, both got good reviews. I have no clue which one to buy.
On one hand you have higher production values and a Jade Empire like combat system.
On the other hand you have old school style RPG goodness.
Edit: Heh, IGN really dumped on LoH. Some other venues dumped on KoP. Guess it's best to just go with one.

I'm getting LoH, but they (EB) didn't get their shipment in. I really just wanted a solid, traditional RPG. Those are just fantastic fun on portables. I used to play the Final Fantasy Legend (legend, it's a trendy word with handhelds.. heh) games for hours on end on the gameboy. KoP is going on the Xmas list.
Traded in Untold Legends, because Xmen Legends 2 is basically the same game but 100x better, and Jade Empires, because I'll realistically never play it again.
I'll throw together a little something after I play it for a couple days. Hopefully they get it in soon. Are there any stores that actually get their games reliably within a day of release anymore?

Now that Gamestop owns EB, all the EBs seem to get dicked for a day. All Gamestops already got theirs.

Why am I homeless? Why do all you motherfuckers need homes is the real question. They called it The Prayer, its answer was law Mommy come back 'cause the water's all gone

I remember hearing some buzz about Infected having some nifty-sounding wireless capability. From what I was hearing it sounded vaguely like Spore's thing of uploading stuff from your game to other people's games for them to compete against. What's up with that?

Will playing any of these games automatically update your firmware version?

Most new games require 2.0.

Bought Infected - game was a bit short. I seem to have a couple unlocks I missed. I really - really - really despise the soundtrack. But at least they let you turn it off.
